This fun Bat Mitzvah was held at the Burnham Ballroom of the Hotel Palomar in the Rittenhouse Square area of Philadelphia. The older crowd rocked out to the Psychedelic Furs, Duran Duran, and INXS. The bat mitzvah, and her friends surprised the adults and the DJ team with their knowledge of participation dances. After doing the Cupid Shuffle, the Cha-Cha Slide and Cotton Eyed Joe, the girls demanded the Electric Slide and the Macarena.
Reviews of Knowlton talk about the outdoor space, but on this particular wedding day, it was raining, so the whole event was indoors. Cocktails were served in the mansion, and guests were free to wander into all the interesting rooms. We were able to provide sound for this location by placing a speaker at the top of the stairs with the cocktail hour mix.
The reception was in a large modern hall with a high ceiling. We were able to fill the room with great sound from our station in the corner of the room. Guests were dancing the whole night to classic rock, pop, old-school, crunk and sing along favorites. The bride and groom made their grand entry to The Darkness – I Believe In A Thing Called Love, and they closed the night with Friends in Low Places! Continue reading Knowlton Mansion Wedding→
