The Philadelphia Quartett Club is a lovely wedding venue in Philadelphia with a great gazebo outside for the ceremony and beautiful ballroom for the reception. Philly Custom DJ provided sound for the wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. We also provided the photo booth which was a huge hit.
The Ceremony
Wedding guests were seated on either side of the gazebo. The DJ station and speakers were off to the side so all the wedding guests could hear the ceremony from wherever they were seated. The speakers didn’t block the guests’ view or get into the photographer’s photos. For the officiant, we set up a wireless microphone on a stand, and a conductor’s stand for his notes.
Cocktail Hour
The bride wanted classic crooners like Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin. The resulting cocktail hour mix is great for any cocktail party. Stream the mix on Mixcloud below, or check out our post for a Spotify version and the full playlist.
Wedding Reception
We played a single song for the wedding party introductions. The bride and groom had me use hilarious nicknames for members of the wedding party instead of their proper ones. They lined the dance floor for the first dance.
After a few hilarious toasts, dinner and the parent dances, this group let loose on the dance floor.

“Adam and his team are the absolute best. The DJ choice was really important to me because they essentially would be the MC for the night and I wanted good vibes and Adam was it!! He was fun, funny, efficient, professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. After each meeting I had with him, I felt completely at ease about the big day. Planning a wedding is so stressful and Adam made it so much easier by contacting my bridal party and other vendors himself! He helped me create the schedule for the day of and fine tune other little details that I’m pretty sure weren’t even his job! Also! The photo booth! I had other ladies ask me who I booked for the photo booth because it was so amazing. I truly cannot say enough how awesome Adam and Philly Custom DJ was. I would recommend them 10 times over to any bride! And I will!”
