The wedding prelude is music that plays before the wedding ceremony begins.  Most guests arrive at a wedding 10-15 minutes before the wedding starts.  The Prelude plays in the background as people find their seats.  This music helps set the tone for the ceremony and the wedding itself.  Think of it as the overture to your wedding.   

The recent trend has been to play classical versions of pop songs.  There are piano, violin, cello, and string quartet versions of just about any song.  Vitamin String Quartet,  Daniel Jang,  The Piano Guys,  and Simply Three are just a few of my go-to artists. Presented here are a few of my favorites by those artists and others.  One of our previous wedding clients turned us onto the classically arranged cover of Phoenix' Lisztomania from the TV series Mozart In The Jungle.  Another deep track is a piano cover of David Bowie's Life On Mars by progressive rock legend Rick Wakeman.
