Community Arts Center Wedding

So much fun!

Here’s the highlight reel:

Here’s what the groom had to say after the wedding:

In a few words, Adam is the MAN. Such a great personality, excellent taste in music and wonderful to work with.

He was very proactive in our wedding planning (directly communicating with the wedding party, providing the evening agenda for our other vendors, simple yet effective forms for our music/timeline organization, etc.) He really helped us along in all aspects of the wedding planning.

His slogan says it all “I’ll listen to you and play the music you love”. We truly personalized our wedding through a collective effort in making our playlists for the cocktail and dinner hours and then left the dance party in his hands – and boy did he deliver.

He loves what he does and that really shines through when he’s manning that DJ booth. Highly recommended for any occasion. I’ll definitely stay in touch with him; I loved talking music together.

Book this man!

The love is mutual, and we’re still in touch!

The ceremony was outside near the castle.

Here’s a DJ’s-eye-view. We set up off to the side, so you couldn’t see us, or the speakers. We set up a wireless microphone on a stand for the officiant, and a conductor’s stand for his notes.

Cocktail Hour at the Community Arts Center Wedding

The cocktail hour was also outside, a little closer to the building. We had additional speakers set us so we were able to play continuously from the pre-ceremony through the end of the cocktail hour.

Actually, the caterer on site if you choose this location is Craig Zeserman. He’s a pleasure to work with – a real pro! More info on their website.

We were lucky enough to work with Stacey Moore. You can see more of her gorgeous photography and find booking information on their website.

Full Playlist

Some of the songs aren’t available on Spotify. See the full playlist at Serato.

Pre Procession

These unique tracks were individually selected by the groom:

  • Jon Brion – Phone Call (Eternal Sunshine Soundtrack)
  • Bibio – Lover’s Carvings (First 1:25)
  • Black Sabbath – Fluff
  • Eric Clapton – The Girl In Pith Helmet
  • Yes – Mood For A Day

Special Songs

Wedding Party Procession:
King Crimson – Improv: Daniel Dust

I actually bought it on a discy disc!

There’s no way to buy a digital copy of this rare King Crimson live track. But it was for an important moment, the wedding procession. I bought it on a disc, because I want to make sure that it plays perfectly.

Bride Procession:
The Vitamin String Quartet – Hoppipolla (Sigur Ros)

Wedding Recession:
Frank Zappa Happy Together (From Live At Fillmore Album)

Wedding Party Entrance:
Lyle Workman/Bootsy Collins Super What?

From the Superbad soundtrack. McLovin’!

Bride and Groom Entrance:
Beer Tone – You’re The Best Around

From The Karate Kid!
