This mix goes well with spreadsheets, sharpened pencils and adding machines.
I used to have a php-based music player in the margin of my old website. Originally created in 2007, the playlist was meant to be changed every month, but never was. Many of the songs found their way onto other mixes.
Recently I got a call from a friend asking what I did with “Music For Maths.” He used to put on this playlist on any time he needed to hunker down with some numbers. At first, I thought that I could recreate the mix as a Spotify playlist, and maybe even tack on a few other songs. But two of the original songs aren’t on Spotify. One is a Japanese remix, and the other was made right here in Philadelphia by local legend King Britt. The mix didn’t feel right without them, so I dusted off the old hard drive, and recreated it from scratch.
Enjoy!
