Andres Fonseca
DJ
By day, Andres produces audio and video for major Philadelphia TV stations. That's the part that's hard to fake. He hears a room the way a broadcast engineer does, so the sound is clean, the levels sit right, and the music never buries a toast or a first dance.
He's from Colombia and fully bilingual, which makes him a natural for weddings that bring two cultures and two languages into one room. He knows when to switch to Spanish, when to turn it up, and when to let a moment land on its own.
His Latin library is deep. Reggaeton, salsa, merengue, cumbia, the real thing. But he's impossible to file under one genre. He'll run Top 40 into classic rock into 90s hip hop into Philly soul and make the seams disappear. Blending genres is the whole point, because a packed floor doesn't care what decade a song is from.
He's also relentlessly prepared and a little obsessed with the gear. He maps out his tracks ahead of time, where the chorus hits and where the beat drops, so the transitions are effortless on the night. He runs intelligent lighting that moves with the music, and he's always chasing whatever's next in the technology. In the best way, he's a music nerd, and it shows.
