We had a great experience working with Adam, Alex, and Jack from Philly Custom DJ. There was so much thought and effort that went into thinking through the flow of the day and what music to play when; we felt extremely taken care of. On the day itself, everything went off without a hitch and we got a lot of compliments on our music and on the DJs -10/10 recommend!

Working with Adam and his team was such a pleasure! He is very friendly, very organized and clearly a wedding professional with many great suggestions. If you have a clear music vision, he will help you enact this, and if you are more like me, where you don't know exactly what you want, he has many suggestions and playlists to help you out. Adam was responsive and really made sure we had all the required songs for different parts of a wedding. Beyond just the music, he was very effective at coordinating all the toasts and the officiant, so that things flowed smoothly throughout the evening.

This DJ company creates unique experiences, not only on the wedding day, but also in the planning process. Adam created an entertaining consultation call for me and my fiancee, highlighting the photo booth and lighting options that they provide. He also walked us through the comprehensive planning portal which served as a great foundation for planning the timeline of the entire evening. Alex as a DJ was very flexible with our eclectic tastes. I know how hard it must have been to play anime openers, video game soundtracks, and Lady Gaga all in the same playlist, but we and the guests loved the transitions and the range that was displayed from the playlist. If things go wrong, Philly Custom DJ will be there to help you! We had probably a dozen last minute changes, from live performers leaving the cocktail hour to mixing requests for first dances. Our DJ Alex handled them with a calm presence that helped us feel like everything was going to be okay. They covered our cocktail hour with a backup playlist that we had provided beforehand. Weather also brought people to a secondary location during cocktail hour, and music was seamlessly transitioned to that new location.

We had such an amazing experience working with Philly Custom DJ! One of the best things about him is that you can be as involved in the process as you want. We really wanted to have a hand in shaping the music for our reception, and he made that so easy. We got to select every song for our cocktail hour, and he created a custom mix that turned out to be one of my favorite parts of the entire evening—it was absolutely perfect.

He's incredibly organized and uses a great online platform that lets you choose the songs you want and plan out the timing of every moment of your event. It took so much stress out of the process! On top of that, he was a wonderful communicator—not just with us, but with the entire wedding party. Everyone knew exactly what to do and when, which helped the whole night flow seamlessly.

Because we live in Texas, we met with him over Zoom, and he was just as responsive and helpful virtually as he was in person. He even took the time to visit our venue weeks before the wedding to familiarize himself with the setup and make sure everything would run smoothly. On the day of the event, he arrived very early to double-check everything and coordinate with other vendors. At the last minute, we decided to add a live band, and he was so flexible and accommodating, making everything work together effortlessly.

Our guests couldn't stop talking about how much they loved the music—it really made the reception unforgettable. And one of the coolest parts was that at the end of the night, we got a Spotify playlist of all the songs! It was such a fun keepsake and a great way to relive the night afterward.
